At Ancora Kids, learning is woven into every part of the day through fun, age-appropriate, play-based experiences. Our program supports both social and academic growth to help children thrive, now and in the future.
Our curriculum follows the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which focuses on the key principles of Belonging, Being and Becoming. Through this nationally approved framework, we help children build confidence, curiosity, and a strong sense of identity.
For children aged 4 to 5 in The Kingdom Room, we offer the Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program, delivered by qualified educators. This prepares children for school by developing foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning, while encouraging independence and creativity.

Our social curriculum reflects our centre’s core values. We teach emotional awareness, resilience and kindness through everyday interactions and community involvement.

Our approach encourages perseverance, empathy and self-regulation. Children learn to express emotions, overcome challenges and gain independence.
Children engage with the broader community through visits to local schools and aged-care centres. We also sponsor children through Compassion Australia to nurture global citizenship.
Through our veggie garden and daily routines, children learn about the environment, food cycles and sustainable living.

As director at Ancora Kids, I am passionate about creating holistic, nurturing environments where children feel empowered to explore, grow, and thrive. At the heart of our philosophy are the values of Empathy, Compassion, and GRIT—Growth, Resilience, Integrity, and Tenacity. I believe that when children are supported with love, respect, and opportunity, they demonstrate remarkable resilience, curiosity, and potential.
My teaching approach is inspired by a blend of Montessori and Steiner philosophies. I value providing hands-on, real-life learning experiences that build independence and practical skills, while also fostering creativity through play-based and imaginative exploration. I also embrace the importance of early exposure to STEAM learning and second language development as vital tools for the future.
I see families as a child’s first and most important teachers. Building strong, respectful partnerships with parents helps create a safe and connected learning environment, where every child feels a strong sense of belonging. My goal is to nurture children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development, supporting them in becoming confident, compassionate individuals ready for the next stage of their journey.

Our sessions vary in price, but on average families pay a gap fee of between $15 and $50 per day. The exact amount depends on your Child Care Subsidy percentage and the hours approved in your claim.
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a government payment that covers a percentage of your fees, making early learning more affordable and helping families return to work. You apply through Centrelink, and your claim sets both the subsidy percentage and the fortnightly hours it applies to.

Our educators are among the most passionate in the sector, and we support families with far more than just daycare.
Yes. We provide three meals a day, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, plus an early breakfast before 7am or a late snack after 5pm. Families supply their own nappies and milk
Each day your child needs a backpack, a drink bottle, a cot-sized fitted sheet and small blanket for rest time, 2 to 3 spare sets of clothes, nappies or spare underwear, a wide-brimmed hat, and weather-appropriate clothing and shoes. Comforters are welcome, but please leave other toys at home.
Absolutely. We work closely with families from all walks of life and aim to create an inclusive,
supportive and accommodating environment. If your child needs additional support, get in touch and we’ll meet with you to discuss how we can best care for them.
