Kingston Childcare & Daycare

Helping young children thrive through early learning, serving families near Kingston with programs for ages 15 months to 5 years.

You Should Never Have to Ask How the Day Went

Handing your child over and hearing nothing until you collect them is not good enough. Educators here talk to families properly: what your child ate, how they slept, who they played with, what they found hard, and what they are working on next. If something happens during the day, you hear about it that day rather than at a scheduled meeting. We treat parents as the people who know their child best, and we ask rather than assume.

Kingston families are welcome from 15 months through to the kindy year.

A Short Trip West to Browns Plains

We are at 5 Trebeck Street in Browns Plains, a short drive from Kingston. Rooms are grouped by age and open onto shaded outdoor spaces, so children are not confined to one room for a twelve-hour day. Doors open at 6am and close at 6pm, with on-site parking.

What our families say…

Outstanding Care and Support! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"My child was initially quite shy and sensitive to new environments, but the educators at Ancora Kids Browns Plains have been incredible. Their care, patience, and skill in supporting each child truly stand out. Since starting, my son has grown so much in confidence—he now comes home singing songs and excitedly talking about what he learned during group time. I'm so proud of his progress and couldn't be happier with the nurturing and enriching environment Ancora provides. Highly recommend!"
Exceeded All Expectations! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"My grandson is enrolled in the 2024 kindy program, and I couldn’t be more pleased. The staff at Ancora Kids Browns Plains are absolutely amazing—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely committed to the well-being of each child. In just a few months, my grandson has developed wonderful social skills and learned so much. The centre is always clean and well-maintained, and the educational program is broad, engaging, and clearly supports early learning. I highly recommend this centre—they’ve truly exceeded all my expectations!"
Thank You for Everything! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"We’ve absolutely loved our time at Ancora. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, our family is relocating and our son will no longer be attending. Over the past several months, the support, care, and dedication from the Ancora team has been nothing short of amazing. You've helped our son grow in so many ways—socially, emotionally, and developmentally—and we are beyond grateful for the nurturing environment you've provided. We're genuinely heartbroken to be leaving such a wonderful centre, but we’ll always carry the warm memories with us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You truly rock, Ancora!"
A Wonderful Place for Our Daughter ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"I just want to express my heartfelt appreciation to all the staff at Ancora Kids Browns Plains. Since joining the Oasis class, my daughter has absolutely loved her time at the centre—she even wants to go on the weekends! It’s been so rewarding to see her come home happy, excited, and full of new things she’s learned each day. The positive impact Ancora Kids has had on her development is clear, and we’re so grateful for the love and care she receives from her educators."
Truly Grateful for the Amazing Educators ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"Our appreciation for the team at Ancora Kids Browns Plains goes a long way. You've always been so helpful, supportive, and professional. While every teacher at the centre is fantastic, I just want to say how honoured we are to have such dedicated and caring educators supporting our child. Social Focus

The social part of our program is based on our philosophy of fostering empathy, compassion and grit in kids. Our centre is a secure, caring environment where children build confidence and discover a joy for learning.

Health & wellbeing

We use play, song and stories to develop essential skills and teach children about health, hygiene and self-care. This includes choosing and making healthy meals, bathing, dressing, hair care, toileting and toothbrushing.

Maths Icon

Community

We build a sense of community by fostering friendships, providing support to families, and through family involvement. The kids engage with the community through local schools, aged-care centres and other activities.

Music Icon

Growth

Our centre helps children grow their kindness, empathy and emotional awareness and regulation. They gain real-life, hands-on experience, physical development such as balance and motor skills.

Sustainability

Young people play an important role in caring for the environment. Our vegetable garden teaches children about food cycles and choices, and marked bins help them learn about sustainable waste management.

Ms Liesl

Meet Our Educators

Ms. Liesl – Centre Director

I am Liesl, the current director at Ancora Kids Browns Plains. I have been working in the centre for 5 years. My qualifications include: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

As director at Ancora Kids, I am passionate about creating holistic, nurturing environments where children feel empowered to explore, grow, and thrive. At the heart of our philosophy are the values of Empathy, Compassion, and GRIT—Growth, Resilience, Integrity, and Tenacity. I believe that when children are supported with love, respect, and opportunity, they demonstrate remarkable resilience, curiosity, and potential.
My teaching approach is inspired by a blend of Montessori and Steiner philosophies. I value providing hands-on, real-life learning experiences that build independence and practical skills, while also fostering creativity through play-based and imaginative exploration. I also embrace the importance of early exposure to STEAM learning and second language development as vital tools for the future.
I see families as a child’s first and most important teachers. Building strong, respectful partnerships with parents helps create a safe and connected learning environment, where every child feels a strong sense of belonging. My goal is to nurture children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development, supporting them in becoming confident, compassionate individuals ready for the next stage of their journey.
At Ancora Kids, I am proud to lead a team that values reflective practice, continuous learning, and a shared commitment to preparing children today, for a better tomorrow.

FAQs

Choosing a daycare near Kingston is an important decision. Below are answers to some common questions parents ask:

Fees, Child Care Subsidy and attendance

Around fourteen minutes to Browns Plains, with parking on site.

Through a proper handover at pick-up and regular updates on your child’s learning and development. If anything needs raising sooner, we call rather than wait.

Your child’s key educator first, and Liesl directly if you would rather. Concerns are answered, not deflected, and we would much rather hear one early than find out you have been unhappy for a month.

Kingston State School and Groves Christian College are the local options, with Kingston State College from Year 7. Our program prepares children for Prep entry generally.

For most families the daily gap fee falls between $15 and $50, set by the subsidy percentage and approved fortnightly hours in your Centrelink assessment.

Centrelink assesses your family and returns two numbers: the share of the fee they will subsidise and the fortnightly hours it covers. That amount is paid to us and you cover the remainder, by direct debit.

We raise it with you directly rather than waiting to be asked, and we adjust: a shorter day, a different key educator, a different arrival routine.

Yes. Watching how your child reacts to the room is often more informative than anything we can tell you.
